How it started: Voyages

I have always had a travel bug that made me want to explore the world and different cultures. I was fortunate to be able to study abroad in Santiago, Chile, Barcelona, Spain, Nice, France, and Oxford, England. My second job out of Georgetown was at USAID where I got to do some more exotic travel for work from Senegal to Nigeria to Singapore to Moldova. Once we had children, I no longer wanted to travel abroad for work but I knew once our youngest turned 6 we would be excited to start traveling with them to new places.

How it started: Veggies

I was never really health-conscious until I was pregnant with my first. At that point, I became obsessive about making sure my kids would have healthy foods to eat. Today, even though my husband and I both work full time jobs, we spend 6-7 PM every night cooking meals for our 7 PM dinner that we all share together. My husband is in charge of the proteins and carbs and I handle the trays of roasted veggies.
